Selfie Lights
A selfie light is a small light that clips on or stands beside a phone, a laptop, or a camera, and lifts the light on a face for a call or a recording. It is the smallest light in this range, and its value is convenience: it goes where the device goes, and it needs no stand, no rig, and no setup time.
The Z2 is the model described at application level here. It carries 78 LEDs, adjusts colour temperature from 2600K to 6000K, offers colour rendering of CRI90 and above, runs on USB power and is rechargeable, gives ten brightness steps, and covers warm white, natural white, daylight and cool white tones. It comes with three kinds of mount and fits phones, laptops, monitors, computers, desks, cameras and action cameras.
What is not published for the Z2 is just as important to state. Power, luminous flux, battery capacity and run time are not given on the manufacturer's page, and none of those figures appears on this site. A buyer who needs them should ask through the inquiry form rather than assuming them from a similar-looking product.
The Z2's own description lists its uses: video conferences, remote work, video calls, personal broadcasting, live streaming, and video for online platforms. That list is a good guide to where a clip-on light earns its place: anywhere a face on a screen needs to look clear without a full studio setup.
Two companion pages cover the same ground from other angles: the monitor light application page, for a light used with a display, and the video conference lighting guide, for setting up a call so the face is lit and the background is not distracting.
